Ages 3 to 5
Creative movement
A first dance class for ages 3 to 5, built from songs, scarves and a story.
Dancers march, skip, gallop and freeze to the music, and try out ideas with scarves, hoops and a drum. Nobody is asked to stand still for long. A grown-up stays in the building and waits in the family room, and every session has a watch week.

What a class is like
- 01
Step 1: Hello circle
Dancers sit in a circle, say hello with their hands and hear what today's story is.
- 02
Step 2: Moving across the floor
Marching, skipping, galloping and tiptoeing in a line, one dancer at a time and all together.
- 03
Step 3: Scarves and hoops
A short dance with props, where every idea is a good idea.
- 04
Step 4: Goodbye song
A slow song, a last stretch and a wave to the grown-up at the door.
What to wear and bring
Comfortable clothes that move: a leotard or a plain top with leggings or a skirt. Ballet slippers are welcome, and bare feet or socks are fine for the first weeks. We will tell you when to bring shoes.
Hair up and off the neck
A water bottle with a closing lid
A favorite scarf from home is welcome
