How tuition works
No surprises: here is what sets tuition, what the extras are for, and where to find the figures.
What sets tuition
Tuition depends on the class and how many classes a week a dancer takes. The age group, the length of the class and whether it is creative movement, ballet and tap, jazz and hip hop or an adult evening all play a part. The owner's figures are on our registration page, and we are happy to talk them through on the phone.

Registration
A yearly registration covers the studio's file for your dancer, the studio's insurance and your place in the parent portal. It is due when you register for your first session.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly, by autopay through the parent portal, or by the session if you'd rather pay once. Adult evenings can be paid by the session.
Siblings
A second dancer in the family is handled differently from the first. Ask us when you register, and we will tell you how.
Missed classes and make-ups
A missed class can be made up in another class of the same level, or the level just below it, within the same session. Book it at the front desk or by message.
Uniforms, costumes and other costs
Costumes are ordered in the winter and billed before the recital in May, with one costume for each class a dancer takes. The recital has a production charge for each dancer, and guests need tickets. Ballet and tap shoes, a leotard and tights are bought by the family, and hip hop wears sneakers. We don't enter competitions, so there are no entry or travel costs.

Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice before a dancer leaves, so we can offer the place to someone on the waitlist. A costume that has already been ordered for the recital is still billed.
