Questions we hear most
How do we try a class?
Book a visit on our registration page, pick a class from the schedule, wear something comfortable and arrive ten minutes early.
Which class is right for my child?
Ages 3 to 5 start with creative movement. Ages 6 to 12 choose between ballet and tap and jazz and hip hop, at first steps if they are new. If you aren't sure, the teacher will tell you at the door.
What should they wear?
A leotard or a plain top with leggings, and ballet slippers or bare feet. We list more on each class page.
Do I need to stay?
For ages 3 to 5, a grown-up stays in the building. For older dancers, you may stay or go, as long as you tell us who is collecting.
May I watch?
Yes: the sixth week of every session is a watch week, and the family room has a window onto Studio A.
What is a level, and how does a dancer move up?
A level groups dancers by age and what they have done. A dancer moves up when the teacher and the family agree they are ready. There is no test.
What are costumes and the recital?
The recital is in May. A costume for each class is ordered in the winter, and there is a production charge for the recital. How tuition works explains each one.
What if we miss a class?
Text or call the studio, and book a make-up in another class of the same level within the session.
How does tuition work?
It depends on the class and how many a week a dancer takes. The owner's figures are on our registration page.
Another question?
Call the studio or send a message, and we will answer within a day.
