Two studios and a family room
Studio A has the barre and the piano. Studio B has the music.
Both studios have sprung wooden floors and tall windows. Classes are small: up to 10 in creative movement, up to 8 or 10 for ages 6 to 12 and up to 12 for adult evenings. Dancers hang their bags on hooks in the hall and keep their shoes in a cubby.

The family room
Grown-ups of ages 3 to 5 wait here, with a bench, a plant and a window onto Studio A. There is a basket of books and a rack of costumes ready for recital season, and a kettle for the evenings.

A parent or guardian stays in the building for every creative movement class, and the teacher hands each child to a named grown-up at the door.
Rooms and floors
Both studios have sprung floors and a barre at child height, and the hoops, mats and scarves go back in their baskets after class.
